Jan 8, 2025: An unexpected visit from Mike Gillis! Canucks getting healthy? The EP, Hronek and Demko cavalry is coming.

Matt and Blake take you through a Canucks gameday as they get set to face Ovechkin and the Capitals, but plenty of Canucks news as well, as Pettersson and Demko return to full health, and Filip Hronek gets assigned to an AHL conditioning stint. The guys get into the expectations for the team when they get to full health, and whether it buys them any time on the trade market. The guys got a surprise guest on the show today, as former Canucks President and GM Mike Gillis literally banged on the window and came in for a chat. Gillis explained what it's like to deal with internal drama on a team, and where he may be inclined to lean in a Pettersson or Miller trade. Then, it's another fabulous visit from TSN's Frank Corrado on today's show as well. A wide ranging chat after 2 weeks away, and Frank weighs in on everything from how good the Canucks can be when healthy, to how Tocchet has dealt with the team of late, and of course his thoughts on if a deal should or will happen for one of Pettersson or Miller.
