Feb 24, 2025: Canucks go 0 for 2, EP40 still blaming media

Back to back losses for the Canucks on the weekend so lots for Matt and Blake to discuss today, including the controversial comments of Elias Pettersson, who blamed the media as his primary issue right now. The guys here from a frustrated Rick Tocchet post game, and also get into the day's poll question on the probability of a Thatcher Demko trade, in the wake of Kevin Lankinen's extension. TSN's Darren Dreger chimes in with health updates on Hughes, Demko and Pettersson. Plus, he gets into whether there is a real possibility of Demko and Pettersson trades, and the trade market in general. Jeff Paterson of RinkWide has extensive thoughts on the media treatment of EP40, and many questions about the player on the ice, but he also talks about the overall direction of the team now that teams like Utah are within striking distance of the Canucks' playoff spot. Then it's Canucks PA announcer Al Murdoch to tell some stories about his gig at the Four Nations Faceoff final between Canada and the USA. The voice of the Canucks home rink talked about the atmosphere and the challenges of remaining neutral in a big game.
