Dec 9, 2024: Canucks middling weekend, Demko and Miller return week

After a home win and loss over the weekend, Matt and Blake are left to ponder what this Canucks team really is right now. The injury to Quinn Hughes on Sunday, showed how tenuous a position the team is in defensively, and not even the imminent return of Thatcher Demko is likely to help. TSN's Darren Dreger reveals the return date of JT Miller to practice but that questions remain after that, and Dregs gets into all the chatter from the NHL Board of Governors meeting, not to mention the accusations of tampering that are flying around because of trade rumours. RinkWide's Jeff Paterson stops in for his weekend recap, questioning the depth scoring as many are in scoring droughts, but also questioning the Canucks willingness to use Vincent Desharnais after his recent spell of play..
